This is what greeted my wife when she came home today. My daughters referred to it as the "heart butterfly." I used my girls' chalk and covered up the drawings they did over the weeked. They didn't seem to mind.
Tell me precious,
of how it begins.
Tell me lover,
of our secret sins.
Tell me wife,
that this love will never end.
Tell me mother,
of a love that is born again.
9 years. And counting.

"What it love?"
"Love is a deep understanding and respect between two people."
Sometimes, we don't need to judge, we don't need to hate, we don't need to question. Sometimes, we should just reach inside and open the doorways of our recalcitrant hearts, let those stifled emotions and feelings loose, and feel.

We're celebrating my daughter's 6th Gotcha Day today. I created this for her. She likes red. :)

"Gotcha Day, Fly Day, Homecoming or Forever Family Day is a day to celebrate the arrival of your child into his or her family. Some families celebrate the actual day their child was put into their arms, others celebrate the day they legally became theirs."
